FC Bayern women start preseason training with strength work
FC Bayern Women are officially back in training for the 2026/27 season. The defending double champions of Germany started their medical tests before beginning their strength and conditioning and field training.
Head coach Jose Barcala shared that the team underwent a series of tests that focused on endurance, jumping, and lactate tests on the treadmill.
The team's Instagram handle shared a carousel of pictures showing the athletes performing a variety of mobility and stability exercises as well.

The Munich club confirmed its fourth preseason signing around 5 days ago. FC Bayern now has new recruits in multiple positions; their summer schedule includes a preseason tour to Japan later this month, as well as a Supercup date with VfL Wolfsburg in mid-August.
FC Bayern will most likely use the coming weeks to build their athletes' physical foundation before they start their technical work.
