Professional bodybuilder, fitness model, and star of the 2000 film Scary Movie, Jayne Trcka, has passed away at the age of 62.

Trcka was reportedly found dead in her kitchen on December 12, 2025, by her friend, who came to check in on her after failing to get in touch with her for many days.

Her son announced the news of her death in an interview with TMZ on January 5, 2026. Although the official cause of her death is still unknown, Jane Trcka’s son told TMZ that she did not have any previous illness.

Her death has been mourned by her fans and the entire Fitness community, with tributes pouring in from all over. Comments like "She was amazing" and "She will be missed" were seen written all over social media.

Who was Jayne Trcka?

Born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, Jayne Trcka began weight training after moving to Southern California in 1986 and started participating in many bodybuilding shows.

During this time, she simultaneously worked in the postal service but soon quit her job to focus on building a career as a fitness trainer. She also worked as a real estate agent in California. 

She won several local contests and competed in many national-level competitions, including the 1997 California State Championship and the 1998 Junior Nationals. Later, she even appeared in fitness magazines such as MuscleMag International, Women’s Physique World, and Flex.

She is best known for her debut role as the girls’ gym teacher, Miss Mann, in the 2000s cult classic Scary Movie. Besides Scary Movie, Trcka also had a cameo as a prison guard in Lady Gaga's 2010 hit single, Telephone featuring Beyoncé.
