Singaporean photographer Chuando Tan is 59 but looks like he's in his twenties. His youthful appearance has made him a viral sensation. He credits his look not to surgery, but to a disciplined lifestyle of diet and exercise.

Recently, a post was shared on Instagram titled, “Meet Chuando Tan, the 59-year-old Singaporean photographer, model and influencer who’s been stunning the internet with his remarkably youthful looks.”

Chuando was born in 1966, but his look and appearance led people to think he is in his 20s rather than nearing 60.

Talking about his lifestyle, Chuando said, "People make a big deal about turning 60. To me, it’s just another birthday. You start to feel your body is losing energy and steam. You have to push yourself; your body can just let go without you even trying. To me, maintaining vitality is really important for healthy ageing."

Having started off as a model in his 20s, Chuando paid close attention to his health. And the key to it is, "I watch what I consume and put into my body, which I think is really important. That contributes to how well you age and your vitality."

That means finding ingredients in their simplest form. And he uses a rice cooker to cook the food using minimal organic extra virgin olive oil. Outside of this, Chuando tries to include honey, blueberries, garlic, and onions into his diet.

"All these dietary habits have helped me become what I am today."

But that's not all. There's one important tip Chuando had: avoid ego lifting. As you grow older, you lose muscle, and you may not be able to lift as much, meaning Chuando is careful about how much resistance training he takes up.

Is Chuando Tan Planning to Continue His Fitness Journey Next Year?

On most days, he does three 90-minute workouts a week. These include: deadlifts, bench presses, overhead presses, pull-ups, and dumbbell presses.

Well, Chuando had a simple answer. "I just want to sit down, take a step back and enjoy a healthy life, and do what I like."

And that includes a new form of fitness activity: Hyrox. It's an indoor competition with eight kilometers of running and eight different workout stations.

"It will be to challenge myself. I see it as a personal test of stamina and endurance rather than a competition."
