59-Year-Old Mike Tyson’s Hand Speed & Boxing Workouts Leave the Internet Amazed
The exhibition fight between Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweather has been canceled, but the 59-year-old is still training.
On May 28, Tyson shared a short clip on his Instagram from a new BTM episode. In the clip, he was seen practicing boxing and showing his fans and the boxing world what real hand-speed movement looks like.
He even spread a simple yet powerful message to all his opponents: “Mike Tyson does not age.”
And no one can deny that. Apart from his boxing workouts, Tyson also trains like a beast.
During a 2025 interview with Men's Journal, Iron Mike admitted he remains committed to staying in shape.
Tyson said, “I’ll still do 200 reps a day – shoulders, abs, sit-ups – usually every morning.”
The star also opened up about how he maintains his workout routine during special occasions like Ramadan, by saying, “I try to train very little when the sun is up, so I’m weak right now. It's very hard to train, but I’m doing a little, putting some reps in.”
Iron Mike also revealed that working out helps him maintain his mental well-being.
While Tyson continues his boxing workout, his fans continue to praise the icon.

And this fan echoes the sentiment of thousands of other fans. Tyson holds many records. For instance, he is the 1st heavyweight boxer to hold the IBF, WBC, and WBA titles simultaneously, a feat achieved between 1987 and 1990.
Tyson is not only the 5’10” orthodox heavyweight boxer who created history at 20 as the youngest heavyweight champ, but he is also an international boxing HOF, and his name was inducted in 2010.
Last but not least, one fan said, “old, not obsolete😮💨💯 that's Iron Mike💪🏽.”
