Her workout routines, fitness content, and motherhood updates were followed closely as she inspired hundreds of thousands worldwide. The news of her sudden passing on June 13, 2026, soon after her stage 4 gastric cancer diagnosis, shook her family and the internet.

Her husband, David, and three young children, Townes, Faye, and River, are in grief over the news. On June 16, 2026, the news of her passing was shared across her Instagram account by her family. The post immediately prompted grief and tributes from friends, family, and followers who were closely following her cancer journey.

“On June 13, 2026, Carly Faye Douglas stepped into complete glory, in her final resting place. She met her Maker and Savior face to face, and her arms are full with her two Heaven babies.”

Douglas had revealed her cancer diagnosis via a tearful video in March. She described her condition as “living in a nightmare,” particularly as a mother.

“I think I've walked through every stage of grief possible, but one thing that has never left is just this overwhelming sense of peace that I'm going to be okay and that I'm going to fight,” she said in the video. “I have to fight for my kids, and for so many people I love.” 

Her followers closely watched her chemotherapy and mental health updates. However, even while facing an aggressive cancer diagnosis, fans were in constant awe of her resilience and unwavering faith.
