Floyd Mayweather Demonstrates Punching Technique in Training Session

Undefeated boxing legend Floyd Mayweather is known for his defensive fight techniques. In a recent Instagram video posted by @theringcouture, Mayweather showcases his signature ‘bullet jab’ technique to Anthony Joshua, showcasing speed, power, and precision.

Two-time heavyweight champion Joshua is visibly impressed by the technique. The technique features fast, left-handed jabs thrown with maximum precision and minimal telegraphing. As opposed to traditional jabbing styles, the bullet jab is designed to snap back immediately. Moreover, it helps in disrupting his opponent’s rhythm while helping Mayweather score points.

"I'm not in this sport to take punishment. I'm in this sport to give it,” he says, according to Boxing Wiki.

Mayweather follows a strict workout routine and diet, which helps him be the best at what he is. His training regimen typically includes sparring, roadwork, pad work, and high-volume bodyweight exercises.

Working on the heavy bag helps him practice various punching combinations. Speed bags are extremely popular among most boxers worldwide. It helps Mayweather practice hand-eye coordination.

Jump ropes are excellent for burning excess body fat and building endurance. Finally, weighted neck drills are great for working on his neck strength.
