Former Miss Universe Olivia Culpo’s Pre-Pregnancy Workout and Diet Routine That Kept Her Fit and Athletic

Miss Universe 2012, Olivia Culpo, and her husband, Christian McCaffrey, welcomed a baby girl on 13 July 2025. And while she couldn't work out for part of the pregnancy, she was happy to return to exercising.

Let's see what her fitness routine looked like before her pregnancy.

The “Jealous Song” actress combines low-impact strength training and high-intensity cardio in her fitness regimen. She also preferred running and pilates.

While speaking to Entertainment Tonight, she stated that, “I have a trainer I see for more HIIT type workouts, and I do at-home workouts with resistance bands. I also love to run around with my dog, which ends up feeling like a significant workout these days.” 

In 2021, she told Hamptons that she prefers doing cardio for 20 minutes a day. Olivia Culpo and her husband also love to do cold plunges.

But that's not all. Routine is important. She likes to start her day with no screen. Olivia Culpo further stated that she “always start my day with journaling and zero screen time”.

Olivia Culpo follows the rule of 80/20 in her diet. “I swear by the 80/20 rule: 80 percent clean eating, 20 percent splurging.”

But that's not all. On her Instagram, Olivia Culpo shared that  “I do the 5-day meal program intermittently throughout the year whenever I feel like I need a jumpstart and the results always speak for themselves—especially my energy levels!”

To maintain proper hydration throughout the day, she drinks water with added electrolytes. She said, “I’m big on keeping up with hydration and adding electrolytes to my water, especially when traveling.”
