“Getting Out of Bodybuilding”- Hosstile Leaving ‘Top Guys’ Samson Dauda and Martin Fitzwater Before 2026 Season Concerns IFBB Veterans

“I just got some other news. Just saw that, um, after five years, Samson, is leaving Hosstile,” Dennis James said on the December 5 episode of The Menace Podcast. However, Dauda wasn’t the only one who left the partnership.

"He just lost two top guys, Martin Fitzwater and Samson," James revealed. Fitzwater finished 4th at the Olympia in 2025 and 5th in 2025. So it's no wonder that the former IFBB pros tried to dissect why Hosstile lost a former Champion and a top-five guy.

Co-host Raymond suggested that there might be financial friction between Samson and Hosstile, "I think it’s a money issue. Samson probably got offered a better deal, and he asked them to match it. I’m not... I don’t know at all, but that’s my guess."

Chiming in on the conversation, Milos Sarcev expressed that Hosstile co-founder Fouad Abiad might be completely shifting his focus from professional bodybuilding.

"Maybe he’s getting out of bodybuilding, hardcore bodybuilding. God knows, you know, but uh, you can get two better guys than those two in your team, right?" Sarcev said on the podcast.

Samson Dauda’s journey with Hosstile began in 2020. So it's safe to say that Hosstile has been his main sponsor from being a contender through actually winning the Olympia. What's even more surprising is that Dauda signed a four-year extension with the brand in 2023.

So what really happened?

Fouad Abiad explains the reasons Samson Dauda left Hosstile

"Good friend and a long-time athlete at Hosstile, five years running, Samson is moving on to greener pastures. And I know everyone's going to ask why... It's very simple," said Fouad Abiad.

"It's the same reasoning I gave after Martin left, which was the truth. Hosstile is doing a little bit different things in 2026. We really want to focus on customer experience, innovation, and really expanding the Hosstile brand," added Abaid.

Samson Dauda also made a lengthy post after leaving the supplement company. The 2024 Mr. Olympia also made it clear that he parted ways with Hosstile on amicable terms, calling his time with the brand an "unforgettable five-year journey."
