Carano has never been extremely strict about her fitness routine. The key for her is balance paired with consistency. With time, she has understood how important it is to know when to push and when to ease out.

The former MMA star turned Hollywood action lead also has a clean, nutrient-rich diet and primarily focuses on consuming lean protein, vegetables, and complex carbs to remain in her best shape.

Her diet during fight camps mostly includes simple meal combinations like chicken and vegetables, keeping it high in protein and fiber.

Interestingly, her journey took a turn after her MMA career. With a professional record of 7-1, she stepped away from fighting nearly 17 years ago.

When not training for fights, Carano often indulges in a cheat meal she absolutely loves, cheese ravioli with Alfredo sauce! She also adds fish and couscous to her diet.

But her fight camps know no barriers as she pushes herself and trains twice a day with an immense amount of cardio, technical rounds, shadowboxing, and hours of bag work, pad work, and sparring to sharpen her skills and abilities

But the actor is not grinding and hustling year-round. Carano even enjoys light strength work along with some yoga and pilates. She also admitted that hiking is one of her favourite kinds of exercise that helps her be in line with her mind around nature.

This intuitive approach allows her to maintain her athletic build long-term.
