Gisele Bündchen’s Fitness Routine: Here’s How the Brazilian Super Model Stays in Shape

Becoming a Victoria’s Secret model and making a major impact on the industry isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. Still, Gisele Bündchen made it look like a normal office day: chiseled, toned physique, clear skin, and more. So, how did she maintain her physique? What’s her secret? Let’s have a deeper look at her workout and diet habits.
Gisele Bündchen workout routine
Gisele wakes up early, typically at 5:00 a.m. The first thing she does is meditate, followed by a light jog with her dogs, usually covering just under 5 km, often a little under 5k. After that, she moves into a light workout and a yoga session.
“Moving is just part of my everyday,” she tells WH. Her life changed drastically after she started taking yoga seriously. [Yoga is] so serene that I can be in a state of meditation while I practice. Whether it involves music or mantras or breath work or meditation, [yoga is] a powerful, beautiful spiritual practice. Yoga gave me back my life,” she elaborates in her book Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life.
Surprisingly, the Victoria’s Secret supermodel is also into martial arts; she trains in jiu-jitsu three times a week.
She has been doing yoga for years, but recently she has added martial arts and weightlifting to her routine as well. She also trains in strength training three times a week. Well, what about her diet? Let’s have a look at that as well.
Gisele Bündchen’s diet habits
Back in her twenties, Gisele’s diet was completely wrecked. She used to wake up each morning, smoke two cigarettes, and drink a Mocha Frappuccino, then end the day with red wine when she couldn’t fall asleep. But that was in the past; she has completely changed her life upside down.
After waking up, Gisele hydrates with a glass of lukewarm lemon water and a pinch of high-mineral salt. Her diet is predominantly plant-based, though she includes animal products occasionally for added nutritional value. Gisele doesn’t take caffeine in her system, opting for a caffeine-free dandelion tea instead.
In addition to that, she is not a big fan of alcohol and has been sober for years. Her diet and workout routine are clean and well-structured, without any push to extremes. That said, when are you trying her schedule?
