Goldie Hawn at 80: How She Maintained Her Fitness Over the Years

Imagine looking younger than your 60s while actually being in your 80s: that’s the story of Goldie Hawn, as she ages like fine wine, and her wellness secrets are there for anyone to follow.

Through her social media, Hawn has expressed that her go-to workouts are simple: walking and jumping on a mini trampoline with her arms in the air to benefit her lymphatic system and her heart.

One of her Instagram posts displayed her workout schedule as she said, “It really is so great for your lymph system. Put your arms up, because when you do, and work your arms, it works your heart, too.” Well, of course, that’s not it. She used weight training as well, but just to keep herself fit; she doesn’t indulge in heavy lifting.

In the morning, the first thing Hawn does is stretch and do a quick breathing exercise before getting into her schedule for the day. “Starting each day with deep breaths, gratitude, and stretches to set the tone for a good day, one mindful moment at a time,” she captioned in one of her Instagram videos on wellness.

If she’s pressed for time, Hawn switches to interval training. “If I don’t have an hour, I’ll do 15-minute intervals,” she shared with People. “Actually, it’s a very good thing to do. If you’re taxing yourself too much in an hour, you’re taxing a lot of things.”

That’s about her workouts, but what about what she eats in a day? Well, she has noted that down as well.

While having a conversation with People back in 2017, Hawn gave a detailed insight about her routine, “'I try to drink my juices, I try to work out every day a little bit, I find moments in the day.”

“I don't eat a lot," she told People. 'I think we overeat. I don't put a lot of food in my stomach, and I don't mix my foods too much. So if I want to have, like, protein, I'll just eat a bowl of lentils, I won't mix it with a bunch of stuff.”

As for her go-to beverage, the star believes in her greens, “I drink my green juice every day!” Kale, celery, parsley, and green peppers are her go-to ingredients for her juice.
