"He will beat Ryan Terry"- Kyron Holden's waistline structure earns Fouad Abiad's appraisal

Comparisons are common in the bodybuilding world, but one recent comparison by veteran Canadian-French bodybuilder Fouad Abiad about the 2026 Mr. Olympia caught everyone’s attention.

On May 25, BTS TV's official Instagram handle shared a short clip of Abiad, captioning it “Do you agree with @fouadabiad?” In the video, the former bodybuilder compares the 3-time Mr. Olympia, Ryan Terry, with the 2026 Men’s Physique Pittsburgh Pro winner, Kyron Holden.

In the video, Abiad said, “I'm not a men's physique expert, but when I look at the two of them, I actually like Kyron’s waistline better than Ryan's. I think it's smaller. I think it's structurally nicer. And I think the muscle bellies in the chest, shoulders, and back are fuller.”

He continued by saying, “ I think Ryan's got a problem, like with Kyron. If Kyron can bring that same peak to the Olympia, I think he will beat Ryan.”

Not only did Abiad praise King Kyron after his Pittsburgh Pro win, but many other personalities did as well. In fact, Kyron himself shared some of those videos on his Instagram.

One such video was dropped by a Men’s Physique Coach, Phillip Naselli, on May 17, captioning “King Kyron claims the crown at the 2026 Pittsburgh Pro👑 What does this result now mean for the Olympia? 👀”

In the video, Naselli believed that Kyron had everything on point and said, “He had the shoulder to waist ratio. He had a full chest. He had the full physique…. Absolutely incredible stuff, Kyron. Now the question is, what can this man do at the 2026 Mr. Olympia?”

Regarding Mr. Olympia, this year it will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada, from September 24 to 27, 2026. According to “ifbbpro.com,” both competitors will face each other on the stage in Las Vegas in the Men’s Physique category.

Although Terry has his own experience dominating the Mr. Olympia stage, Holden is also training hard in the gym.

Kyron Holden’s intense training

For every competition, Holden follows an intense training regimen. Even before the Pittsburgh Pro, he was preparing hard for the competition. On May 14, he posted a video on his Instagram showing an intense workout, which included:

  • Barbell bench press
  • Cable crossover
  • Machine lateral raises
  • Chest-supported machine T-bar row

While in another video shared by Holden on May 15, before the Pittsburgh Pro competition, he was seen

  • Chest-supported row
  • Machine lateral raise
  • Stair climber
  • Posing practice

This intense workout and posing helped him win at the Pittsburgh stage. And as he is set to fight competitors like Terry, Brandon Hendrickson, and Ali Bilal in September on the Las Vegas stage, it will be interesting to see what Holden comes up with.
