Here's NFL QB Cameron Ward's intense offseason gym workout

Tennessee Titans quarterback Cameron Ward is leaving nothing to chance this offseason. In a recent Instagram picture carousel, the young signal-caller is seen engaged in an intense gym workout focused on strength, agility, and explosiveness. Ward’s dedication highlights his commitment as he prepares for the 2026 season.

“Punchin’ the clock,” stated the caption of the post uploaded by Ward’s sponsor, Under Armour Football, on June 29.

The exercises in the photo carousel included cable woodchopper, hex bar deadlift, single-leg Romanian deadlift, belt squats, half-kneeling Pallof press, and rear-foot elevated split squats. Alongside these exercises, he also engaged in medicine ball throws and running on the field.

Ward appears geared up for the next 2026 NFL season in September after the August training camp and preseason games.

These intense workouts help improve balance, strength, stability, and change-of-direction performance.

Exercises like belt squats are excellent for building lower-body strength while recovering from back fatigue or without adding excess pressure to the back. Each exercise serves a specific purpose in his routine.

Ward’s offseason training sessions help develop his strength and performance, keeping him game-ready to meet the demands of the next NFL season. He uses this time to build his power, mobility, stability, and durability.

The Tennessee Titans' second-year quarterback complements his workouts with a clean, balanced diet designed to help him lose excess weight and stay agile.

Inside Cameron Ward’s performance-focused offseason diet philosophy

After weighing in at 220 pounds during the 2025 NFL season, Ward was determined to get leaner. He dropped 10 pounds during the offseason through consistent training habits and a clean diet.

As per the TennesseeTitans.com, Ward shared how he lost 10 pounds without crash dieting or over-training.

“It's really about monitoring my calorie limit, then calculating the amount of protein and carbohydrates I need, as well as what's best for my body and how I feel,” he explained.

Ward’s goal was to preserve muscle while losing the extra pounds during training.

During an interview with ESPN’s Turron Davenport, he revealed how his custom diet plan is designed to help him with his durability.

“I think it'll help me with durability," he said. "Just being faster, getting up in the pocket, and trying to play my speed. I watch my diet more, continue to have more cardio, just work on my body, just now here and when I'm away from the building."

Increased cardio and a clean diet is what Ward is relying on this offseason to stay game-ready.
