How Jennifer Aniston retains a toned core at 57 with three tool-based workouts

At 57, Jennifer Aniston’s core strength doesn’t come from endless crunches. It comes from three specific pieces of equipment her trainer relies on session after session.

Dani Coleman, Pvolve’s vice president of training, has worked with Aniston for more than five years, building sessions around the brand’s blend of strength, mobility, and stability work.

“I’ve trained Jennifer Aniston for a little over five years now… through our three signature formats: weight training, sculpt, and our sculpt cardio-based format,” Coleman told Katie Couric Media, as published on Women’s Health.

Their sessions run 30 to 40 minutes and cover the full body, but core work never gets skipped. The three tools behind the training are as follows:

1. Gliders

Gliders are the first go-to, as published by Kate Cheng of Women’s Health. These small sliding discs turn simple movements into serious stability challenges by forcing constant control.

“You can get a great full-body workout in with them,’ Coleman said. “They’re compact and travel-friendly, so she can take them when she’s on set or on the go.”

The team uses them for plank variations, kneeling oblique work, and standing stability drills, making them a tool that hits the entire body.

2. P.Ball

The P.Ball comes next, a Pilates-style exercise ball fitted with a strap that wraps around it like a belt.

“You put it on like a pair of pants and use it for pelvic floor and deep core work,” Coleman explained.

It also doubles for traditional crunches when placed under the back, or for isolating the legs, hip flexors and lower abs when positioned under the tailbone.

3. P3 Trainer

The P3 Trainer rounds out the trio, a resistance tool Coleman compares to “a Pilates reformer on the go.” Built with two resistance straps, a ball and a handle, it connects the upper and lower body to create tension through a wide range of movements.

“It attaches to your ankle, and then you can use it in your hand so it’s like your body is your own cable machine,” Coleman said.

Together, the three tools reflect a training philosophy built around function first, aesthetics second, exactly the kind of approach that’s kept Aniston strong and injury-conscious well into her 50s.

Jennifer Aniston’s Diet

Jennifer Aniston’s approach to food is more layered than just the salad stereotype suggests.

As per Eating Well, her mornings start with hot water and lemon, followed by coffee with a splash of milk and stevia. Breakfast rotates between avocado and eggs cooked in coconut oil, or oatmeal with whipped egg whites for extra protein.

Some days bring a smoothie instead, blending protein, bananas, blueberries, cherries, greens, maca powder, cacao and a collagen peptide she credits with stronger nails and a better glow.

Lunch stays simple by design. Aniston preps raw vegetables, hard-boiled eggs and butter lettuce in advance, often building meals around pulled chicken, seared ahi tuna, or a chicken burger wrapped in lettuce. Beets and caviar are permanent no-gos.

Snacks fill the gaps between meals, usually an apple with almond butter, a cheese stick, nuts, or soup, alongside plenty of water.

Dinner is where she gets more creative, mixing vegetables and protein with occasional Mexican food nights, sugar-free margaritas included. She also hosts DIY pizza nights with friends and makes a lightened-up carbonara using turkey bacon, eggs, Parmesan and pasta water instead of cream or butter.

Would you try building a core routine around gliders, a stability ball, and resistance bands?
