He placed first in multiple events, including the 2006 Colorado Pro Championships, the 2006 New York Pro Championships, the 2006 BBC Classic, the 2008 IFBB Iron Man, and the 2011 and 2012 Sheru Classic. By 2011, Heath had become such a monster that nobody could defeat him.

‘The Gift’ might be living a good life right now, but it wasn’t all a fairytale when he was young.

He grew up without a steady father figure after his parents separated when he was just three, but memories of his father became a powerful motivator throughout his competitive career.

“I will say that the ones I do have are of fond memories, with this one taken the day after I had won my first Mr Olympia. To win is one thing but to win with your Father present is EVERYTHING,” he wrote in an Instagram post remembering his father after his passing.

Despite having a tough time, he carried those memories with him and went on to become one of the biggest names in the world of bodybuilding.
