Inside Eiza Gonzalez's Diet & Fitness Rule for a Stronger Physique
The Mexican actress and singer Eiza Gonzalez recently appeared on the spring cover of Women’s Health. During the shoot on the set, she revealed her health, fitness, wellness, and diet.
On April 7, Women's Health dropped a video on its YouTube channel, where 'Baby Driver' actress revealed that she had tried “every type of diet.” Ranging from
- Vegetraian
- Vegan
- Keto
She even tried eating only red meat for 2 months after being inspired by filmmaker Guy Ritchie to maintain a healthy physique.

But now, the her approach has changed, saying:
“Having a good relationship with food and putting good things into your body, I think, is very important.”
Gonzalez revealed that she has been diagnosed with endometriosis, PCOS, and adenomyosis, so she has completely restructured her diet.
Now, she aims to fuel her body with foods that help reduce inflammation. She is working with nutritionist Chris Talley and follows a very healthy, balanced diet. Chicken has become her main source of protein.
Gonzalez's diet incorporates
- Anti-inflammatory foods items
- Leafy greens
- whole grains
- Fatty fish (for antioxidants)
In the video, when asked about drinking smoothies, the actress replied, “I drink smoothies,” though she prefers protein shakes made with water and protein powder.
Talking about the salsa, she said, “I'm Mexican. We make every kind of salsa, and it's outrageous.”
She also disclosed her one vice, which is drinking a lot of coffee.
In addition to eating healthy, her fitness routine played a vital role in maintaining her toned physique.
Eiza Gonzalez’s Fitness Routine
Speaking about her fitness routine, Gonzalez said,
“Every role requires specific things. had to do crazy amounts of running in order to be physically strong to repeat the scenes over and over again.”
The actress said she works out almost 6 times a week, with weight training twice a day. Her workout mainly includes:
- Pilates
- Heavy weight training (2-times a day)
- Boxing
To maintain her fitness, the actress works with a team of experts.
“I have three, four people working with me across the board… and it’s just been amazing because I’m learning so much through it all.”
Gonzalez's fitness and wellness team includes :
- Personal trainer: Grant Roberts
- Chiropractor and movement specialist: Tarek Adra
After so much gym training, acting, and action work on the set, a rest day becomes an important part of the routine because it helps her regain strength, which ultimately helps her get back to her busy schedule. Gonzalez’s rest day includes:
- Painting with girlfriends
- Sauna
- Ice bathing
Along with this, sleep is non-negotiable for the 'The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare' actress.
