Ivanka Trump Shared the Fitness Routine That Transformed Her Body and Strength
After stepping away as the Advisor to the President of the United States, Ivanka Trump focused on herself and her family. However, it was her physical transformation that turned heads on social media.
So in 2024, two years after stepping away from politics, Trump revealed the approach that had transformed her fitness in her 40s.
"I believe in a strength training approach built on foundational, time-tested, and simple movements—Squats, Deadlifts, Hinges, Pushes, and Pulls," Ivanka Trump wrote in the caption of her October 22, 2024, post.
"These are the cornerstones of my workout, emphasizing functional strength for life. Prioritizing form is essential; only then do I add weight," she added in the post.
Trump argued that proper form was essential to avoiding injury. The former Advisor to the POTUS also explained how weightlifting didn't just improve her strength but also her athletics.
While she would practice cardio and moderate intensity training like yoga, strength training transformed her fitness.
"I now dedicate 3-4 days/ week to strength training—2 sessions solo and 2 with either @sandybrockmanfitness (Sandy Brockman) or @coach_hm (Hector Maradiaga)," she added.
Many of the habits behind Ivanka’s transformation are simple enough for everyday people to incorporate into their daily fitness routines, too.
The training was only part of Ivanka Trump's fitness routine
While prioritizing strength training changed how Trump approached strength training. She also focused on diet and especially protein to help with muscle building and recovery.
“I now consume between 30 and 50 grams of protein a meal. It works… I’ve never been stronger!” said the First Daughter.
Her personal trainer, Sandy Brockman, has had a big hand in helping her achieve her fitness goals. In a 2025 interview with The Irish Star, Brockman revealed how designing the right routine is also crucial.
"What I train women in, whether it’s online or in person, is basic fundamental lifts on the barbell... I’m only interested in exercises that have the biggest impact," Brockman explained.
However, since her 2024 post, Ivanka Trump has also delved into jiujitsu. On March 21, 2025, she even featured on an Instagram video by the Valente Brothers jiujitsu.
