Nick Walker isn't hedging his bets heading into his fourth Mr. Olympia appearance.

In an August 5 YouTube video, Walker predicted he would take home the Sandow trophy this year, even if every single competitor shows up at their absolute best.

“I have to be undeniable at that show. I have to walk out on that stage and make it known that I just won,” said Walker on Olympia TV as published on Fitness Volt. “The same way I just did Tampa, the same way I was at the 2021 Arnold, I have to walk out, and people go oh s***, this is even better.”

Walker's confidence comes after a rocky 2025 campaign. He finished second to Derek Lunsford at the Pittsburgh Pro, then clawed his way back into Olympia contention with a third New York Pro title. Once he reached the actual Olympia stage, though, he mistimed his peak and slid to sixth place.

He rebounded quickly. A close second-place finish behind Andrew Jacked at the 2026 Arnold Classic restored momentum, and a dominant Tampa Pro win locked in his qualification for this year's Olympia.

Walker’s confidence seems absolute. When Dennis James from Olympia TV asked who he thinks his biggest threat is, his response was absolute.

“Nobody. Because you know what I’m tired of? I’m tired of everyone saying everyone has to be off for me to win," said James as published on Fitness Volt. "If everyone is on 100 percent, I will f****** win, and that’s that.”

Walker seems extremely confident in his victory, but is everyone else too?

The Path to victory is

Walker isn't the only one who sees a real path to victory. Bodybuilding veteran King Kamali has called him a "nightmare" matchup for both Lunsford and Hadi Choopan, pointing to Walker's muscularity and stronger back poses as legitimate advantages on stage.

Still, the field standing between Walker and the Sandow is loaded, including Lunsford, Choopan, Andrew Jacked and Samson Dauda, all former or reigning threats at the sport's highest level.

The 2026 Mr. Olympia runs September 24-27 in Las Vegas, where Walker's bold prediction will finally be put to the test.
