Jutta Leerdam's key advice in working out

One of the key things behind her fitness is active participation in sports, be it skating, field hockey, or gymnastics. This helps Jutta Leerdam to stay active and energetic.

Her fitness regime also includes bike riding. During the summer, she prefers mountain biking and block training. On the other hand, in winter she prefers skating, cycling, and weight training. Also, her regimen has a dedicated off day a week. 

Jutta Leerdam’s diet

She consumes a well-balanced diet with adequate carbs and high protein content. Jutta Leerdam's morning meal includes fruits and oatmeal. She said this meal keeps her full and provides energy during practice. 

She told Body & Fit, “As a skater, I have to be strong, but I don’t want to be too bulky. I see food as my energy. I need carbs. I need fat. I need everything.” Her diet includes a lot of vegetables. 

She also believes in small indulgences and further stated that, “What really is a cheat day anyway? A burger contains animal proteins and good fats that I can use as energy. I’ll watch the saturated fats, but if I feel like it, I eat it, and I don’t feel guilty. I use the energy to train the next day.”
