Jennifer Garner, 53, reveals she works out every day: Fitness hacks behind her glam

Mother of three Jennifer Garner knows that fitness is an essential part of life, and even at 53, she is turning heads as she reveals that she rarely takes a day off from working out.

A montage from her conversation with Drew Barrymore has resurfaced, in which she highlights that the first thing she does in the morning is to work out. “Well, what I do in the morning is like I work out.”

When Barrymore asked if she works out every day, she answered, “Every day.”

“You've got to do hard cardio to get that, to get yourself! It's needed in our bodies, we need it, but we need it in our brains! Your brain needs it!” she highlighted. When Barrymore inquired, “How long?”

The Adam Project star expressed that one just has to find something that “actually makes you feel joyful while you're doing it.”

Through her Instagram Stories, she shares glimpses of her fitness routine with fans, including workouts like dance cardio, light weightlifting, and her favorite, box jumps. That’s not all, now that she is in her mid-50s, she is doing everything to stay fit.

Even if she is travelling for her roles, she makes sure to train. “I will use a hotel gym, or I will do one of The Limit on-demand videos that you can use without any weights or without anything, just to get my heart rate going,” she previously told Today

Apart from that, she keeps her snacking habits in check.

Whenever she’s on the move, Garner makes it a point to keep a snack within reach to curb sudden cravings. Nuts, in particular, are among her preferred grab-and-go options.

“It’s supposed to be a healthy snack,” she previously told TODAY. “And I have gone through spells of traveling a lot, and I’m always panicked that I’ll get on a plane, and I won’t have something healthy to eat, and I’ll find myself knee-deep in my neighbor’s rigatoni after I finish my own.”

In addition, in a previous conversation with Women’s Health, the movie star said that popcorn is one of her favourite low-calorie snacks.
