Arnold Schwarzenegger’s son, Joe Baena, has clearly stated that pursuing a career in acting is his main goal, even as the son of the Austrian Oak builds his presence in professional bodybuilding.

During his appearance on May 25 on Axel Guerra’s YouTube channel, Baena was asked whether he wants to compete at the next level or stay natural, as he is now. In response, Baena said,

“The goal right now is to stay natural and see how far I go. I mean, there's no rush. It's like, you know, it was my first competition. Super fun and I loved it, but uh, being in film and TV is more of a goal, and this is more just like your passion. It's passion; it's fun.

I don't know if I would want to make a career out of it.”

This decision may hurt millions of his fans who think Baena will carry on his father's legacy in the bodybuilding world, especially after his recent wins.

Baena, who was an overweight child, worked hard and developed a physique like a natural bodybuilder. With the help of that, the son of the 7-time Mr. Olympia achieved success in his first professional bodybuilding competition.

On March 28, he participated in the NPC Natural Colorado State competition and earned winning titles in 3 categories, including:

• 1st at the Men’s Open Bodybuilding Heavy Weight Class
• 1st at Men’s Classic Physique True Novice
• 1st at Men’s Classic Physique Novice.

He did not stop there. Within just 1 week, Baena earned his Pro status by winning the INBA Iron Gladiator Classic Physique Championship.

Baena also knows that he has the potential to make a legendary career in bodybuilding, which is why he said to Guerra, “But well, again, you never know, maybe I reach the top level of natural, and then it's something, you know, to consider”.

Whether Baena will continue his bodybuilding career in the future remains to be seen, but he has already set foot in the acting world.
