Arnold Schwarzenegger's son, Joseph Baena, is an almost look-alike of young Schwarzenegger, and he could easily fulfill his father's role in any movie.

Speaking in an interview posted on the Entertainment Tonight YouTube channel, Baena was asked whether anyone had ever approached him about playing a younger version of the bodybuilding legend. 

"It would be a great honor. I mean, again, he's a huge role model. He's my dad. I would love to do justice to any role that takes to be him."

The conversation further shifted to how close the pair are. Baena revealed that the father-son duo trains together almost every day, but Schwarzenegger does not go easy on his son.

"He busts my b****, excuse my language, if I'm not there at 7 a.m. He's there every day. I'm there every day, or I try to be there every day. We love working out together. He's a great workout partner."

Such intimacy was not achieved without effort. Those who know less about Joseph's background should know that he bears his mother's maiden name, which is not Schwarzenegger.

He was born in 1997 to Mildred "Patty" Baena, who had been working as a housekeeper for the family for more than two decades. This news gained public attention in 2011 after Arnold and Maria Shriver separated.

Joseph Baena is the only offspring Arnold Schwarzenegger has who has followed his laid pathway. Baena has now made a recognizable name in the bodybuilding world, after competing in multiple NPC competitions, earning recognition not as a celebrity offspring riding on a famous name, but as a serious competitor.

Baena also takes an interest in building a steady acting career, beyond the stage. He has been successfully landing several roles in films and television projects.

He has appeared in the John Malkovich sci-fi thriller Chariot (2022) and Bully High (2022). His recent projects include Gunner, an action thriller starring Morgan Freeman and Luke Hemsworth.

Schwarzenegger's son, just like him, has dual ambitions and is probably following the same path Arnie took decades ago.
