Lisa Manobal came into the spotlight as a K-pop girl in 2016. Her popularity is so high that after releasing “Lalisa”, her first debut single album in 2021, Lisa Manobal became the first female star to sell 736,000 copies in the first week.

The Thai performer, who appeared in Maroon 5’s “Priceless,” has always been the talk of the town for her fitness and performances. So how does the K-Pop idol with 106 million Instagram followers keep herself fit?

Lisa Manobal’s approach to fitness

Manobal doesn't follow an intense gym routine. Instead, she mixes functional fitness with dancing.

Her marathon dance practices help build muscle endurance and stamina. The marathon dance practices are also beneficial for mental conditioning. For Blackpink's choreography, Lisa Manobal has to practice multiple dance moves. Those moves target her different muscle groups, core, and legs.

She uses these sessions to have an elevated heart rate for a longer time. Her dance moves resemble HIIT techniques, which not only support heart health but also help burn calories.

Lisa Manoal practices Pilates to improve mobilty, flexibilty and to build a strong core. It is also beneficial to maintain a good posture and a lean body. Then come the outdoor activities.

Manobal swims as the natural resistance of the water improves strength and stamina, without stressing out her joints.

On the other hand, Hiking works as a tool for mental clarity. Yet, the physical aspect is only one part of Lisa Manobal's routine.

She follows a no-restriction diet approach thanks to a busy schedule, which includes extensive rehearsals. She knows that she needs energy, and without a proper diet, her fitness and her professional life will take a hit.

Lisa Manobal also makes space for fresh vegetables and fruits. Fruits and veggies help meet her required amount of vitamins, antioxidants, and minerals. Meanwhile, fruits also help with hydration.

Many Korean dishes, like kimchi, contain a variety of vegetables, some of which are fermented. This helps in gut health.
