Kate Hudson Shares Daily Diet from Her Home Kitchen

In an Instagram post on May 27, American actress Kate Hudson posed in front of her massive fridge at her Pacific Palisades mansion. She also gave a glimpse into the daily meal plan and workout routine that helps her look and feel youthful at 47.

A sneak peek into her fridge revealed several bottles of wine, small jars of yogurt, freshly squeezed juices, fresh fruits like oranges and strawberries, and eggs. The balance of nutritious items gives us an insight into her food habits and choices.

“I love to cook. I love the kitchen, it’s my favorite place in the world. I like when everybody’s sitting around, and having almost an early afternoon cook flow into an early dinner. I like it loud; I like football on. A loud, active kitchen is perfect to me,” Hudson told Architectural Digest.

During an interview with Eating Well Magazine, she also revealed that she divides her meals into small portions, five times a day. This, along with following a vegan diet two to three days a week, helps her keep her energy levels optimal.

Of course, the one thing that has remained a constant for her, no matter the diet, has been coffee.

Like many health aficionados, Hudson starts her mornings with lemon water and drinks plenty of green juices and protein shakes. She also fasts intermittently for 14 to 16 hours a day.

Salads, tofu, and plant-based items dominate her diet. Hudson also enjoys vegan strawberry ice cream and vegan cookies, all of which she makes herself from scratch.

Dinner, however, does include chicken, turkey, or fish.

Inside Kate Hudson’s Workout Routine

During an interview with People Magazine, Hudson revealed how she tries to squeeze in any type of movement in her daily life for at least a few minutes.

"I need to be moving to feel good," she said. "Even just making time for a little movement every day — going for a walk, doing a few minutes on the treadmill, some Pilates, or if I have more time for it, I love hot yoga."

Hudson also emphasized the importance of exercising for mental health, commenting on how it helps her clear her mind and get her blood pumping. She shared her love for outdoor activities like walking, hiking, skiing, and riding her bike.

However, she advocates the necessity of strength training, especially with age.

With the help and guidance of her personal trainer, Brian Nguyen, she has created a workout routine that includes yoga, Pilates, and strength training.

It is clear that both Hudson’s diet and her kitchen are a good reflection of her inner philosophy. She prefers a clean balance of color, vibrancy, and consistency.
