While some sweat on the treadmill to be fitter, and others live for the iron, Kim Kardashian has figured out what's best for her, and it’s strength training.

On December 22, 2025, an Instagram post from BrainBodyUpgrades highlighted a segment from the SHE MD Podcast, where Kim Kardashian told the host, Mary Alice Haney, “I work out two hours a day, every [day].”

Haney questioned, “How much cardio do you do?” In response, Kim highlighted that her workouts only include weights. She said, “Only weights. I did some age testing with my sisters, and I realized that I could add more cardio, but the weights have really given me a lot of anti-aging benefits, so I think it's really important to lift weights.

Kardashian’s words do hold some truth. According to a 2024 study by the College of Life Sciences, Brigham Young University, 90 minutes per week of strength training was associated with 3.9 years less biological aging on average. On the other hand, a different study highlights that resistance training can improve skin structure and dermal thickness.

Kim trains a lot, and it’s evident from her physique. Being a mom of four, she still boasts an amazing physique. So, while we have learnt that she lifts weights, let's take a look at the specifics of her workout regimen.

Kim Kardashian Details Her Workout Routine

In an interview with Vogue in 2025, Kardashian admitted, “I’m a big weightlifter, so I do lots of weights.” She also stated, “I've had some back issues, so I’ve had to readjust some of my workouts. But I have to do lower body in order to stay toned.”

Working out for two hours a day, Kim sticks to a strict upper-body and lower-body workout split. She revealed, “I usually pick a body part, and we stick to that for the day.” Well, apart from that, the SKIMS founder loves to do pilates.

The 45-year-old also stated, “When I don’t incorporate Pilates at least once a week, I can feel it in my back. I definitely need that lengthening and stretching.”

Well, given that Kardashian boasts an hourglass physique to this date, how much of that do you think comes from her workout routine?
