Lauren Cowell's workout routine at 48 to retain a toned physique & strength

America's Got Talent judge Simon Cowell’s fiancée, Lauren Cowell, has been following the same training routine for the past 20 years to maintain commendable fitness in her late 40s. So, let’s dive into her fitness routine.

On April 10, Cowell posted a video on her Instagram in which she wore a purple gym co-ord set and white sports shoes, finishing the look with a low ponytail. She was seen training with dumbbells and also performing some freehand movements. 

She captioned the post, “As many of you might know, I’m obsessed with my Tracy Anderson workouts, and I always try to stay active, even when I’m away.”

Cowell herself disclosed that she has been following the same training routine for more than 2 decades now.

On December 26, 2025, she shared another Instagram post that provided more insights into her training routine. Here are its specifications:

  • Beach walking with her dogs
  • Practice padel with friends
  • Riding a bike with family

In fact, the One Direction: This Is Us producer’s fiancée believes in living a healthy, joyful lifestyle. She shared a montage of videos and photos on April 12 on her social media, captioning it “Malibu round up part two. Our trip has now come to an end, but what a beautiful time we have all had together.”

In the post, Cowell was seen enjoying surfing, eating, and spending quality time with her family and friends. She also practices Pilates at home if she goes to the gym. 

In addition to training and daily movements, she maintains a healthy diet. 

Lauren Cowell's diet 

Lauren Cowell follows a healthy diet to fuel her training sessions and busy lifestyle. She prefers a protein-dense diet, which helps build strength and supports muscle growth.

Cowell regularly shares her meal options with her fans online on her social media handles. On March 29, she posted two healthy recipes: protein pancakes and a salad.

For Pancakes, she uses ingredients:

  • Oat flour: 50g
  • Almond flour: 50g
  • Cottage cheese: 100g
  • Greek Yogurt: 50g
  • Egg: 1
  • Baking powder: 1teaspoon
  • Frozen blueberries: 150g
  • Honey: 2 tablespoons

Ingredients used in the salad are:

  • Romaine lettuce
  • Tomatoes
  • Cucumber
  • Roasted red bell pepper
  • Red onion
  • Kalamata oregano
  • Feta cheese
  • For salad dressing (vinegar, salt, black pepper, evoo)

Besides eating healthy, she also believes in indulging in sweets like cookies and treats. In another post, Cowell shared a healthy mint cookie recipe with her chef. 

This perfect balance of training, regular movement, and healthy eating helps Cowell stay fit, energetic, and toned even at 48.
