Luis Suárez Shares Strength Training Session With Inter Miami CF
Inter Miami CF shared strength-training content featuring Luis Suárez on social media. Ahead of the match against Chicago Fire FC, scheduled for July 23 at Nu Stadium in Miami City, Inter Miami CF players were seen training together.
On July 9, the official Instagram handle of “Inter Miami CF” shared a carousel of photos, captioned “Every rep counts 😤⏱️.” In the photos, Luis Suárez and his team were seen training in a gym and performing a variety of exercises, including:
- EZ bar bicep curls
- Exercise with a medicine ball
- Bench press with power blocks
- Football practice
That's not all. On July 10, the account also shared a training video featuring the players. The post reads, “Gearing up for what’s next. Countdown is ON ⏰🔥.” In the post, the players were seen performing movements like:

- Sprint running
- Agility drilling
- Goal shooting drill
- Goalkeeping practice
The regimen emphasizes lower-body conditioning and explosive power. Along with the team, the Uruguayan footballer was seen training hard for the upcoming match. The last match between the two took place on October 1, 2015, when Chicago defeated Inter Miami 5-3.
This time, it will be interesting to see who will dominate whom, but in the meantime, Suárez and his team will put in full effort to prepare for the July 23 match.
However, the player was seen doing intense training, but at the cost of severe knee pain.
Reason behind Luis Suárez’s knee pain
According to AS.com, Suárez once revealed the truth behind his pain. In an interview with 100% Deporte, he said, “On the outside of my knee, I have some tension left over from surgery I had in 2020 when I was in Barcelona…. It doesn't generate fluid because I wouldn't be able to move it at all, but it locks up, and I can't even bend it.”
He further revealed the shocking truth, “The nights before matches, I take three pills, and before the game, I inject myself with Voltaren (an anti-inflammatory). If I don't do that, I can't play.”
Even after enduring such excruciating pain, the Uruguayan footballer showed up for training regularly and put in his efforts to help his team win the match. Which team will win the match? Only time will tell, but the team and Suárez are preparing hard to win.
