Martin Lawrence Lost Weight at 60 With Terence Crawford-Approved Boxing Workout

The man who helped define our childhood with the Bad Boys series, Martin Lawrence, has embraced Father Time. But at 59, the actor stunned fans by appearing noticeably slimmer, healthier, and far more energetic than many remember.
Behind the noise of the paparazzi, the Bad Boys star has been quietly taking care of his health. “I was 230 pounds, and I couldn’t ignore the toll it was taking on me,” he said. “I knew I needed a change, but it wasn’t until my health started to suffer that I truly realized how urgent it was.”
The actor has been sharing his workout clips on social media, and in one of his montages where he was shadowboxing, fans spotted none other than Crawford himself in the comment section, saying, “Pull up, bro, let’s get it in. "
Boxing has been a big part of Lawrence's transformation. He regularly posts videos of him training in the gym, sparring with a trainer in the ring, and working out with equipment. And we're not surprised. Boxing is a good way of burning calories, provided you mix it up with the right amount of training.
For now, Martin Lawrence's weight loss isn't the only thing that's under the spotlight.
Martin Lawrence and Will Smith Were Not the First Choice for Bad Boys
Discussing the instance, Tony Alspen of Vice discussed the original casting choice for the film.
The movie began filming in February 1993, and at that time, Will Smith and Martin Lawrence weren’t even attached to the project. Instead, the film was supposed to be led by Jon Lovitz and Dana Carvey.
“[Don] Simpson and [Jerry] Bruckheimer, they wanted Dana, and then they added me to it afterward,” Lovitz told The A.V. Club in 2010. However, the only reason he couldn’t be a part of it was that the script was not that great.
Well, the iconic duo is again looking to make another installment of the beloved movie, and it’s official.
