Meryl Streep's Fitness Routine: How Swimming Helped Her Remain Fit Since Her Late 60s

Meryl Streep may be approaching 80, but the actress pays close attention to her exercise routine, which has helped her stay healthy and look younger than her age.
Speaking to HELLO! Magazine almost a decade ago, when she was 67, Streep revealed that swimming forms a significant part of her workout routine. The actress also disclosed that she swims approximately "a mile every day."
Streep said, "I do try to stay healthy. Sometimes I let myself fall apart, but generally I try to swim a mile every day, because I like the feeling and it gets me into my body. I’m quite conscious of keeping my health, because it doesn’t last forever, and we’re all of us lucky as long as we do have it. I try to remember that."

So, let's have a look at how exactly swimming helps her stay healthy.
Swimming Is Suitable for The Ageing
