Michal Krizo Confirms 2026 Prague Pro, Shares Olympia Plan

Michal Krizo's path to Olympia contention hinges on one principle: quality over size. After winning the Pittsburgh Pro title in May 2026, Krizo earned direct qualification for this year's Mr. Olympia. After his loss in 2024 due to a shoulder injury, he bounced back with a victory in 2025, dominating the British Grand Prix Pro.

In a recent YouTube clip released on June 8, the Slovakian bodybuilder confirmed his entry into the EVLS Prague Pro, a prestigious annual professional bodybuilding competition held in Prague, Czech Republic, scheduled for October 10–11, and shared a picture of what he believes will help him reach the top.

Now, he's not chasing scale weight; he's chasing quality. "I will try to come in even better shape than Pittsburgh. To come a bit sharper, fuller, and the weight doesn't even have to be higher. If I come in better quality, sharper, at the same weight… it will be good," said Krizo.

Krizo's preparations for Olympia are similar to those he envisioned during his Pittsburgh performance: "What I did for Pittsburgh, I will try to do the same for Olympia, but I will try to come in a little bit better shape, a bit more shredded."

In recent Olympia competitions, judges have favored conditioning and symmetry over mass β€” a shift that plays to Krizo's strength.

Lee Priest, one of the greatest bodybuilding legends, also predicted that Krizo would be in the top six at Mr. Olympia.

Lee Priest and Jay Cutler Back Michal Krizo as Legit Olympia Threat

Michal Krizo is garnering serious attention ahead of the 2026 Mr. Olympia, not only from fans but also from big names and veterans in the sport. Lee Priest and Jay Cutler both praised Krizo.

As per Priest Krizo and his rival Tonio Burton, both of them might finish in the top six at the Olympia. Cutler also compared Krizos' physique with that of seven-time champion Phil Heath.

The praise is not sudden for sure. After a stunning 2026 campaign and finishing second to Burton at the New York Pro, Krizo turned the tables at the Pittsburgh Pro, quite literally. Krizo became the second Open athlete in the event's history to do so.

With the Prague Pro booked for October 10–11 and Olympia prep underway, Krizo has made clear that muscle quality β€” not size β€” will be his edge. "I will try to come in a little bit better shape, a bit more shredded," he said.

Share your thoughts in the comments on whether or not you think Krizo has what it takes to become Mr. Olympia 2026.
