Mike O’Hearn’s Fitness Philosophy Earns Approval From Stone Cold Steve Austin, David Guetta, and Others
Mike O’Hearn has built a legacy of multitasking. He is a professional bodybuilder, actor, model, and personal trainer who has been featured on more than 400 magazine covers, runs businesses, and is a dad who constantly shares his workout videos with his 7-year-old son.
Many fans wonder how he manages his family life and gym life together, and what his fitness philosophy is. The 57-year-old bodybuilder recently opened up about that philosophy on Instagram, earning approval from personalities like Stone Cold Steve Austin and David Guetta.
His fitness philosophy was revealed in his answer to how he balances being a dad with the gym. O’Hearn said, “Oh, I don't. I don't balance it. There is no balance. Zero balance, my friends. The gym is a priority.”
The May 2 post by MikeOhearnShow instantly went viral, with thousands of fans reacting to the clip, including some celebrities. For instance, while Stone Cold Steve Austin, the retired professional wrestler, commented, “hell yeah,” David Guetta, the French DJ and record producer, showed his approval with the simple “❤️❤️” sign.
Not only that, former UFC middleweight star Michael Bisping said, “love this,” and IFBB Pro online coach Antwan Rarcus added, “couldn't have said it better myself, big bro 💯.”
The post also drew attention because O’Hearn’s approach was clearly visible throughout. In some of the slides, he was seen visiting the gym with his son, Titan O’Hearn, helping him train, and in other slides, he was seen exercising alongside his son.
And working out together with his son gives him the opportunity to spend time with the little O’Hearn and maintain his fitness as well.
Answering the critics, O’Hearn also clarified his point strongly by adding, “So yeah, the gym goes first. Not because it matters more than my family… but because it’s what makes me capable of showing up for them at the highest level…"

The 4-time Mr. Universe also revealed the hack behind his powerful growth.
His hack revolves around the belief that traditional stretching cannot unlock all the potential of muscle growth. He said, “I believe stretching with stress and strength in that position is better than just stretching with your body weight.”
O’Hearn focuses not only on flexibility but also on building strength within the stretched position.
