As a mother of two children, a film producer, and a director, Natalie Portman manages it all perfectly. And we saw that in her performance in the 2025 film “Fountain of Youth”.
What Does Her Fitness Routine Look Like?
Natalie Portman's fitness routine includes plenty of exercises and movements to keep her body active and fit. She runs 3 times a week despite her busy schedule.
“When I’m running for a full hour, it feels a little like meditation to me,” she told Women’s Health.

She prefers doing gyrotonics. It is a form of exercise that focuses on movements to enhance mobility, coordination, and flexibility. To build endurance, the actress chose swimming as her low-impact training.
She is so dedicated to her movie roles that she also follows a role-specific fitness routine. For instance, for Thor and Black Swan, she followed a gruelling training approach, cardio, ballet, and mat work.
For her role in Thor, the Oscar-winning actress trained herself Monday through Friday, and weekends were dedicated to rest. She used to follow a progressive overload technique.
Natalie Portman’s diet
On the YouTube channel, “Dish Podcast”, Natalie Portman said, “I'm vegan.”
She doesn’t eat several foods, such as cheese, watermelon, strawberries, and berries.
Her favorite herb is dill, and she likes salads with fennel. There is a Middle Eastern salad from her childhood that she used to eat all the time. She believes in little indulgence, she said, “I'm a candy person,” and an SNL wrap is something that satisfies her.
In the same podcast, she said, “I love to cook... I go out is like getting Moroccan food or Lebanese food or Thai food or Indian food.”
