The veteran American wrestler Undertaker has a dedicated fanbase that loves the WWE legend most. But a debate has recently surfaced on social media after a 2003 video resurfaced, prompting fans to argue about his physique in 2003 and 2007.  

On May 28, the Instagram handle of “wrestlendgame” shared a video, captioning “Before the Deadman rose again, Big Evil ruled the ring.” The post further reads, “In 2003, The Undertaker completely redefined his legendary career by showing up in arguably the absolute best physical shape of his life.”

In 2003, a WWE wrestler came to the stage with short hair and a completely lean, jacked physique. During that time, he was more aggressive in terms of raw power, agility, conditioning, and aesthetics. 

The post continues, “This was a man on a mission to prove he was still the undisputed locker room leader, dominating the roster with pure power and a ruthless attitude.” In this window, he defeated some of the legendary wrestlers, including:

• Big Show
• A-Train
• John Cena

But in 2007, when Undertaker returned to the ring, he looked leaner and had dropped more weight than in 2003. This gave him increased stamina and speed; he became more dominant in submission moves. 

In fact, he won his first World Heavyweight Championship by defeating Batista on April 1, 2007.

The video has received thousands of likes and comments, with fans arguing over their favorite version of Undertaker. The comments are still coming in. Let’s see what fans are actually saying.

However, the wrestler demonstrated his dominance over the rivals in both time frames. 

One fan wrote, “That's BIGEVIL🔥🔥🔥I wanted this Taker for long. Best version this Taker was so speed and agile🔥🔥🔥” During this time, the wrestler participated in events such as the Royal Rumble, WrestleMania XIX, No Mercy, and many more.

Another supporter said, “My favorite version of the Undertaker.. Big Evil.. The Swagger, the Bike, the you’re gonna pay theme 🔥” Throughout his wrestling career, Undertaker had various versions such as:

• The Streak (1991-1994)
• Rebirthed Deadman (1994-1996)
• Lord of Darkness (1996-1998)
• Big Evil (2001-2003) 
• Return of the Deadman (2004-2007), etc.

One fan focused on the physical aspects and wrote, “Nope, 2007 he was ripped.” Compared with 2003, the wrestler had more defined abs in 2007.

One fan compared the current wrestler to those of previous eras in WWE and said, “This is what wrestlers today are missing… instead of looking like wrestlers, they look like soccer players.”
