Noomi Rapace’s Fitness Habits & Methods to Stay Fit Beyond Film Glam
For the Swedish actress, Noomi Rapace, fitness has never been only about glamour. In films like Prometheus and The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, she not only showcased her talent. Fans were instantly impressed by her fit appearance.
Rapace shared her fitness habits with Jenny Curtis on the Hollywood Unscripted segment of the CurtCo podcast.
"Well, I work out once or twice a day," Rapace said. "I'm very strict with my diet when I'm working. So I don't want to go on a sugar rush rollercoaster because it just messes up my whole system. I don't drink a******. I can't really put myself in situations where I feel like I add adrenaline to myself. "
Rapace answered when CurtCo podcast host Curtis asked her how she takes care of herself amid her chaotic schedule. She credits her discipline towards fitness as her primary asset, which helps her stick to it.

"So I always stick, I almost build up like walls that I could bounce back on," the actress showed a tough mindset behind her commitment to fitness. "So in the end of the day, I go to the gym, no matter what, and I will sweat out the character."
To prepare for her role as Lisbeth Salander in The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo, Rapace trained in Thai boxing and kickboxing, four to five days a week.
Noomi Rapace’s Approach to Fitness and Training
Rapace revealed that her mornings often begin around 5 a.m. with a “heart-pumping workout,” which energizes both body and mind to endure long shoots and press days.
As for her recovery, she does cold-water recovery methods. Rapace takes ice baths and cold showers to reduce inflammation and sharpen her focus.
She admitted to building a routine that she relies on. So, after wrapping up a hectic day of shooting, she takes a bath, an Epsom salt bath or an ice bath, depending on her preference.
Listening to music in the morning and evening is a ritual for Rapace as well. Along with sticking to a routine, there are certain things she completely avoids.
"I can't watch movies," Rapace said. "I can't talk to people really. I try to just stay as protected as possible from the outside world, so I have time to heal and to process and reset my mind and my body for the next day."
Just like her training process, her diet habits are also simple and nourishing. Rapace described her preferred breakfast as a protein-rich meal, made to provide sustenance. It includes coffee, eggs, avocado, and truffle salt.
