Andrew Jacked's first Arnold Classic victory was about more than a trophy. During his post-win interview, the champion revealed his performance included a special tribute.

In an interview with Dave Palumbo, and bodybuilding legend Kai Greene, Andrew Jacked spoke about his posing routine and the inspiration behind one of his signature poses on stage. Besides winning the top prize, Andrew also took home the additional Best Poser award.

He revealed that one of the poses he struck during his routine was actually a tribute to the late bodybuilder Cedric McMillan, who was also a celebrated poser in bodybuilding.

"Last time I was just penalized for the mask... So when I made the pose that it was a tribute to Cedric... It's not about the money. It's just doing something. Respect," the bodybuilder said on RxMuscle.

Despite never winning the Olympia Cerdic McMillan had built a reputation for a physique that was constantly compared with the golden-era bodybuilders. Throughout his career, he was celebrated for his artistry in posing.

McMillan secured five pro wins, with his best Olympia result being a seventh-place finish in 2017. The biggest highlight of his career was in 2017 when he won the prestigious Arnold Classic title. Sadly, his career was cut short in April 2022 when he passed away after suffering a heart attack.

The money is secondary to Andrew Jacked

Dave Palumbo asked how Jacked felt about not just winning his first Arnold Classic title but the biggest cash prize in bodybuilding history.

"In bodybuilding ever? Yeah. But in life, no. No. The biggest prize in life is waking up healthy and sound. I'm thanking God. I'm thanking God. And that's it," sad Andrew Jacked.

Every other thing can be achieved. It might take a long time, but it definitely can," said the 2026 champion.

When Palumbo pondered upon the possibility of Andrew Jacked also winning the Arnold Classic UK, increasing his winnings to a $1 million. But Andrew’s reply made him respect the champ.

“Yeah. Well, well, most of the stuff goes to charity.  I've been blessed already,” he added.
