Phil Heath Shares Fun Training Session With Hany Rambod and Ronnie Coleman
It is always motivating to see legendary bodybuilders having a fun training session together. One such session was recently seen when Ronnie Coleman and legendary coach Hany Rambod joined Phil Heath.
One thing that made the session visually appealing and fun for the fans was that the 7-time Mr. Olympia tried to reverse roles and pushed Rambod for extra reps, as he does during his training sessions.
On July 15, Phil Heath shared the training session on his Instagram channel. He captioned the post, “Every coach deserves one workout where the roles get reversed. I finally got to use @hanyrambod’s own words against him.”
And the words are, “No, I mean, you're supposed to do like, one more one more. One more one more one more!.... 2 more for the haters. 3 more for the hater”.

Rambod, who trained many Olympia winners, including Phil Heath, Jay Cutler, and Chris Bumstead, is known for his intense training process. His signature training method is also known as FST-7. Fascia Stretch Training-7 combines heavy lifting with high-volume sets and short rest periods. It is designed to stretch the connective tissues surrounding muscles.
Apart from that, trainers often motivate athletes and gym-goers and push them with the same words Heath used to mock Rambod in a funny way.
In the post, Heath also added, “Always a good time training with Hany and @ronniecoleman8.”
What was more interesting was that with Rambod and Heath, Coleman, the 8-time Mr. Olympia, was seen training hard, reminding everyone he still has the same strength despite having 13 surgeries in his lifetime.
On June 24, Heath and Coleman met for another fun training session, and the short clip was posted on Heath's Instagram.
In the clip, Heath and Coleman worked out their arms with dumbbells, and Heath said, “This is what 15 Mr. Olympia looks like.”
They performed 20 reps.
Heath’s dedication to training is evident in his Instagram posts. Even after retirement, he still trains regularly and motivates thousands of his fans.
Phil Heath’s current fitness mindset and workout approach
Heath is currently 46, but he is not ready to compromise on his fitness habits.
On May 26, he shared an Instagram clip offering insight into his fitness habits and exercise routine.
Heath captioned the clip as, “Early mornings, legendary equipment, intense training, and unforgettable meals.”
He was also seen doing:
- Machine preacher curl
- Seated alternating dumbbell biceps curl
- Wide-grip lat pulldown
