Historically, Conor McGregor has been one of the most fluid fighters of all time. His ability to move with complete body control is one of the key factors that helped him knocked out Jose Aldo in 13 seconds.
“If it doesn’t involve balance, I don’t think it’s beneficial,” says McGregor. “I do yoga every day. I’m perfecting my handstand, I like the tree pose with a side leg extension and the plank/side plank.”
His complete workout includes a wide range of elements, from heavy strength training and pad work to boxing, forming an all-around MMA training package. “I did pool work, then went to the gym and did jiu-jitsu rounds, pad work, jump rope, core work, and dead hanging from objects,” said Conor McGregor, explaining his training for UFC 198.
To achieve complete body mastery, Conor McGregor was never limited to dumbbells and plates. He has long believed that bodyweight training is the best way to gain absolute control over your physique.
