Ramon Dino Explains Why He’s Nervous Ahead of 2026 Mr Olympia

2025 Mr Olympia Classic Physique winner Ramon Dino admitted to being nervous before the Mr Olympia 2026.

On May 19, BTS TV posted a short clip of Dino, taken during his visit to the 2026 IFBB Pittsburgh Pro. When asked if he was ready for the Mr Olympia, Dino said he was ready but nervous.

"Maybe a little bit nervous, but I'm ready," the Brazilian bodybuilder said, “Because the stage is this place, a crazy place. People look to me, oh, I'm nervous.”

And no one can deny that. Competing at the biggest stage of professional bodybuilding directly places one in the world media spotlight. Apart from that, if you are fighting to protect your trophy, the pressure you face is even greater.

Dino expressed that walking in the arena, knowing everyone is watching you, being judged by many judges and held to the highest standards, creates stage nerves.

However, the first Brazilian to win the competition has shown his fans that he is in peak condition at the Pittsburgh Pro.

During his guest posing at that event, Dino showcased his massive size, huge legs, and upper-body conditioning. Even his guest posing post was liked by two-time Men's Open Mr Olympia Derek Lunsford on Instagram.

While Dino admitted that he is nervous about the 2026 Mr Olympia competition, let's see what workouts he is following for the event.

Ramon Dino’s Workout for Mr Olympia

Ramon Dino’s training philosophy is a compromise between high-intensity and high-volume approaches. For instance, during his arm sessions, Dino performs 3 to 5 sets per exercise with 8 to 12 repetitions to enhance muscle strength and hypertrophy.

In addition, his other workouts include:

  • Lying machine rear delta fly
  • Dumbbell lateral raises
  • Barbell front raises
  • Machine incline overhead press
  • Machine lateral raises.

Leg workout:

  • Leg press
  • Leg extension
  • Belt squats
  • Unilateral hip press.

  • Seated incline dumbbell curls
  • Overhead cable triceps extensions

Despite admitting he is nervous about the upcoming competition, Dino is preparing as best he can to defend his title in 2026.
