Roman Reigns Shows Off SummerSlam-Ready Gym Session

Roman Reigns is currently the World Heavyweight Champion after he defeated CM Punk at WrestleMania 42. Reigns will soon defend his title at SummerSlam against Seth Rollins, August 1–2, at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

The champion looks deep in grind mode.

He released a video on his Instagram after their rivalry turned physical during their July 13 contract signing on Raw, according to WWE's own broadcast coverage.

Reigns kept his messaging just as pointed, captioning the clip: "While they're whining, I'm grinding." In the clip, he was seen working his upper body. He looked massive during the workout.

The upper body circuit consisted of chest press, pec fly, cable flys, then a finishing superset of bicep curls and hammer curls.

The beef between Rollins and Reigns has been the talk of the WWE community currently, and it has been building for 5 weeks now.

Rollins has been digging at Reigns for being WWE's "chosen one," saying he had it easy from day one and couldn't "wrestle his way out of a wet paper bag" when he debuted.

Reigns replied, questioning Rollins' durability and title history, and brought up Triple H's role in his own rise.

Rollins didn't back down, framing their careers as completely different roads.

Roman Reigns Once Detailed the Brutal Routine Behind His Championship Body

The intensity behind Roman Reigns' training clips isn't new — he's talked about exactly how demanding his regimen gets.

Ahead of his WrestleMania 42 match against CM Punk earlier this year, Reigns spoke with street journalist Adam Glyn outside a New York steakhouse and broke down what a typical day actually looks like.

"It s**** right now. It's never-ending," Reigns said. "I'm currently on three a day. So I do a 45-minute cardio, like a two-hour workout in the middle of the day, and then another 45-minute cardio at night."

His diet is just as regimented.

Reigns explained that everything was meal-prepped and planned by his dietitian, built around high protein and moderate carbs to sustain his workouts, with just enough fat to keep him stable.

Months later, that same discipline is clearly still paying off heading into SummerSlam. Does that kind of routine sound sustainable to you, or is it a recipe for burnout? Let us know in the comments!
