Ronda Rousey has dropped another impressive training video, which has tipped the scales in her favor in the debate of who will win the Rousey vs. Carano fight.

Ever since MVP announced the bout between the women's MMA icons, Rousey and Carano, both fighters have been posting jaw-dropping training videos on social media, and on March 26, Rousey uploaded her latest one. In the video, she was seen immersed in an intense conditioning session and at the same time improving her striking speed.

'Rowdy' was accompanied by her two young daughters as well, who showcased their own skills alongside their mother. The caption detailed her excitement for not just her fight, but the entire fight card of the Rousey vs. Carano event. It read, "One day closer to the sickest f****** fight card that’ll remind you why you love fighting! (It’s definitely reminded me)."

The first-ever UFC women's champion also disclosed the starting range for arena tickets. Fans who want an in-house experience of the event will have to shell out at least $88 from their pockets, while Netflix will broadcast it globally for others.

Besides her usual grappling sessions, Rousey was also seen working on her stand-up skills. Her pad work session with her partner showed her impressive speed, which will be very helpful during her upcoming fight on May 16.

'Rowdy'is more of a ground fighter who specializes in judo. Her strengths lie in technical grappling and especially submissions, including her staple: the armbar. She is also a highly trained boxer and wrestler. Whereas, stand-up sessions like sparring and clinch work are more of Carano's specialties.

But while Rousey's striking was never really her strength during her active MMA career, her recent videos display significant improvement. And much of the credit goes to her striking coach.

Meet Ronda Rousey’s New Striking Coach

The primary reason behind Rousey's improved striking is her coach, AJ Matthews. The two started working together 6 weeks after Rousey gave birth to her youngest daughter and got cleared to fight again.

In a previous Instagram post, Rousey recalled their first meeting and said, "He shows up and puts on like a hand wrap on my hand that looks like he had a coughing fit. Pretty good. And then puts on his goggles, I'm like what's this?"

She added that they started working together in Las Vegas for the first time after she impressed him with her skill. Overcoming her trust issues allowed 'Rowdy' to gel up with Matthews even more. And this difference can be clearly seen in her mitts work sessions.

Matthews was a welterweight during his days of competing actively inside the cage. He retired with a record of 9-9 after competing across noted promotions like Bellator MMA, Strikeforce, RIZIN, and King of the Cage.

So, do you think collaborating with Matthews will bring Rousey her first in-cage victory in more than a decade?
