Ronnie Coleman Drops New Music Album, Fitness Community Vibing: “Beat Is Sick”

Known for his unmatched bodybuilding legacy and catchphrases, Ronnie Coleman has now taken his energy beyond the gym.
The 8-time Mr. Olympia winner shared his excitement with his fans and the fitness community on Instagram 3 days ago. He said, “Yo, what's going on, guys? It's your boy Big Ron here, and guess what, guys? I've been holding out on y'all, but I'm ready to let you guys know that I've been working on my own album”.
Ronnie Coleman added, “Yeah, buddy, took me a long time to put it together, but it's ready now”. He also revealed the release details, saying, “It's on Spotify, and it's on iTunes, and it's called Built Different.” Ronnie Coleman ended his statement by saying, “Y'all know how I roll. Yeah, buddy, go check it out and let me know what you think about it. Big Ron out!”.
That post got more than 60,000 likes, and not only fans but also personalities from the fitness community started vibing to the tracks. NPC national judge, Sheilahe Brown commented, “BECAUSE I LOVE IT. The beat is sick yesss”.
Arnold Sports commented, “Yeah, Buddy! 💪”. A military PTI and boxing coach, John Thomson said, “The absolute goat”.
This is not the first time Ronnie Coleman has released an album or tracks. In 2014, he released two tracks on iTunes.
While “Built Different” revealed a creative side of Ronnie Coleman, it also justifies the deeper transformation the 8-time Mr. Olympia has been embracing after his life-threatening sepsis surgery.
Ronnie Coleman’s “New Year, New Goals” narrative
Ronnie Coleman has gone through 13 surgeries in his life and a sepsis hospitalization in 2025. However, “Big Ron” not only motivated his fans through his music video but also showed them that nothing can stop him.
A few days ago, he posted a short video on Instagram captioned, “New Year, New Goals!! This year, my goal is to get back to full strength in the gym after my recent Sepsis and truly focus on getting back on my feet and walking. You can do anything you put your mind to, and I’m dedicated to my recovery this year…Yeah Buddy!!”.
In that video, he was seen doing leg press with light weight, which is a step toward his recovery.
