Samson Dauda Drops $1,200 on Food Every Week to Bulk Up!
Ever wondered what elite size really costs? The 2024 Mr. Olympia winner, Samson Dauda, spends nearly $1,200 a week on food to support serious mass and size, according to the Instagram account Coachify AI.
The post from March 24, claiming Dauda's huge spending to “Eat big to get big,” featured a carousel of photos and a video. The video clip was originally taken from a podcast on the YouTube channel “One54 Africa” aired on March 18.
During his appearance on the podcast, when one of the hosts admitted to spending $4,000 a month on food for his family of six, the IFBB Pro instantly laughed and revealed the $1200 spending, which accounts for $4800 per month. In response, the host shockingly replied: “You're consuming more food than I'm for six humans in my house.”
Host Gbajabiamila jokingly said, “If you came to my house, I ain't fed. I'm going to tell you that right now. See, you're twice my budget.”

It may look unnatural, but spending a healthy amount on a diet is a calculated move. Last year, on December 17, while speaking with Jay Davies on “The Beautiful Struggle Podcast,” Dauda said that “Everybody wants to see monsters. Let's be real, this is bodybuilding. There's nothing more impressive than you seeing a f****** over six-foot-tall dude weighing over 330 pounds monster.”
He further added, “It's time to go back to being a monster again.” In fact, in November 2025, Dauda reached over 330 lbs, and on November 27, he was seen breaking his scale in a video. He captioned the video “Well... Safe to say I'm gonna need a new scale.”
So, this is why the Nigerian Nightmare is loading him up with a $4800 monthly food bill.
Apart from eating, he is also following a well-curated workout weekly routine to maintain his huge shape.

After taking fourth place at the 2025 Mr. Olympia, Samson Dauda is carefully analyzing every aspect of his progress to showcase his impressive physique on stage. In the same podcast, he revealed his weekly training routine and mentioned that he likes to start his training week on Monday.
Monday - Back day
Tuesday - Legs day (both quads and hamstrings)
Wednesday - Shoulders day
Thursday - Arms day
Friday - Rest day
Saturday - Chest and calves day
Sunday - Rest day
Dauda likes to work out five days a week and prefers 10-15 reps of each exercise, taking about a minute of rest between sets.
This perfect mix of bulking and intense workouts would probably help him to recover from his back injury.
