2024 Mr. Olympia Samson Dauda has shaken up the bodybuilding world. He has announced the end of a long-standing partnership.

On a video titled Arms Workout, Dauda announced his contract with Hosstile was over.

"As of today, first of January, my contract with Hosstile ends today... It's been five years running now. And officially at this point, we're not with Hosstile anymore. This is a very tough decision, especially when I've been with them for such a long time.

Dauda first became a part of Fouad Abiad's Hosstil back in 2020, back when he was managing a construction job with bodybuilding. Hosstil allowed him to pursue bodybuilding full-time, opening up the road to eventually winning the Mr. Olympia title.

“I can’t thank them enough for everything they’ve done for me. I mean, they’ve pretty much got me here where I am today... We're looking at a new supplement company to sign with and as the week goes on, I'll give you guys more insight into what goes on..."

But why did Hosstile end things with Samson Dauda

There was no hostility behind the separation, just as Dauda had explained. A few weeks ago, Abiad addressed the situation on the Real Bodybuilding Podcast News, particularly due to the surprise fans had felt.

"Everybody is going to ask why. It's very simple. Hosstile is doing a little bit different things in 2026. We really want to focus on customer experience and innovation. And really expanding on the Hosstile brand. And Samson wants to do some different things. We kind of like had a long discussion. It's Kind of best of both of us at this time."

Dauda had signed a multi-year extension deal back in 2024, around the time he won the Mr. Olympia title. But as Abiad explained, the separation wasn't about a dispute, concluding their time together on a positive note.

"I love Samson. I'm going to support Samson till he retires. Samson will always have a home at Hosstile... Whatever Samson wants, I'm here for him."
