The Olympia Weekend in itself is one of the biggest celebrations in the bodybuilding community. It brings together thousands of fans from around the globe, alongside featuring major athletes and fitness brands.
The event is held over a period of four days, often known as the Super Bowl of bodybuilding.
Inside bodybuilding’s biggest weekend of the year
Bodybuilding’s biggest annual celebration, the Olympia Weekend, is a much-awaited event for the bodybuilding community. Every year, thousands of fans and athletes gather for the four-day event, celebrating one of the most popular sports in the U.S.
The Olympia Weekend, often referred to as the Super Bowl of Bodybuilding, features various interesting events, including:
- Athlete meet-and-greets – Bodybuilding fans have the rare chance of interacting with some of the biggest bodybuilding legends, coaches, current champions, and fitness influencers. Moreover, they can interact with them via autograph signings, Q&A sessions, and panels.
- Mr. Olympia competition – Some of the top professional bodybuilders of the world meet to compete for the most prestigious titles. The various divisions include Men’s Physique, Wellness, Bikini, Classic Physique, Wheelchair, Fitness, and more.
- Olympia World Fitness Expo – Fans not only have a chance to meet top athletes but also get to see new products, apparel, and hundreds of supplement and nutrition brands. Furthermore, they can attend athlete product launches, collect autographs, and even meet their favorite elite athletes.
The name “Super Bowl of Bodybuilding” comes from the fact that the four-day event represents the highest level of competition. Plus, it is single-handedly the biggest annual bodybuilding event, much like the Super Bowl for American football.
