Shawn Ray Speaks About 3x 212 Olympia Champ Keone Pearson

Shawn Ray, who often shares his thoughts on the current situation of bodybuilding and modern bodybuilders, recently shared his thoughts on Keone Pearson, the 3-time 212 Olympia champion.

2 days ago, RxMuscle shared a short video in which Shawn Ray, after appearing on Vob Media, discussed the respect Keone Pearson shows to the retired bodybuilders.

He said, “I'll tell you what makes a bodybuilder who's retired feel good…. when the new guys that are actually doing the business reach out and ask for help”.

Ray then revealed that Pearson called him, and the 2 have been exchanging messages ever since.

According to the former bodybuilder, Keone Pearson, “sought Flex Wheeler out for some advice”, and he's now sought him out for some advice, “not only on training, but also on posing”.

Later, the 1991 Arnold Classic winner admitted that Pearson does not need any advice to win because “No one's going to call Keon a bad poser anytime soon”. But according to Ray, Pearson is a winner and “still eager to learn”.

And no one can deny Ray. Keone Pearson has not only won 3 Mr. Olympia titles in the 212 division but also claimed several other Pro titles, including Chicago Pro 2021, Tampa Pro 2022, and Texas Pro 2023.

He achieved a lot even before he turned 30 and is still grounded, and that is why Shawn Ray said, “Who does the champion turn to, right? They turn to inspiring people that can motivate them, and I love the fact that he's not resting on his laurels, thinking that he knows everything”.

And Ray cited Keone Pearson's reasoning as, “wants to leave a bigger footprint”.

With that mindset, Pearson is now preparing for another Mr. Olympia.

Keone Pearson's physique update for the 2026 Mr. Olympia

The 3x 212 Olympia champion, once again preparing to leave another big footprint at Mr. Olympia, recently gave an update on his physique through an Instagram post.

Last week, Keone Pearson posted a short video while flexing his physique. The post was captioned as:

“As promised. One & only full physique update. I decided to go back to my 2023 mindset before winning the 212 Olympia that year. UNDERDOG MINDSET. No pressure, no expectations, just WORK. See you in September. @ mrolympiallc”.

His thoughts on improvement and learning were also visible on another post on February 3, 2026, where he said, “Improvement season, not Offseason because we are never off 👊🏽”.

In that post, Pearson shared what he eats on his rest day. His meals include:

Meal 1: 10g fats, 87g carbs, and 54g protein

  • Turkey sausage× 4
  • 200 g Jasmine rice
  • 250 g egg whites
  • 1 whole egg
  • 60g sourdough bread.

Meal 2: 12g fat, 92g carbs, and 50g protein

  • 100g Elev8 Creamy rice
  • 50g raw itholate
  • 100g sliced strawberries
  • 20g almond butter.

Meal 3: 12g fat, 61g carbs, and 50g protein

  • 200g Jasmine rice
  • 150g Megafit grilled chicken
  • 50g avocado mashed.

Meal 4:

  • 200g Jasmine rice.
  • 150g megafit ground turkey
  • 100g raw zucchini
  • 70g sourdough bread
  • 75g pineapple.

Meal 5: 20g fat, 59g carbs, and 54g protein

  • 50g raw itholate
  • 20g almond butter
  • 75g oats.
