Federation leadership credits collaboration behind championship success
The Chairman, Sheikh Abdullah, credited the event's success to the collaborative effort behind it.
"We are proud of the success achieved by the championship through teamwork and cooperation among all the organizing committees," he said as per the same Gulf Today article.
The chairman further thanked sponsors, partners and athletes for their contributions. He also praised the spectators who turned out, saying their presence helped elevate the profile of the UAE's bodybuilding community.
Mohammed Abdulrahim Al Marri, Board Member and Secretary-General of the federation, echoed that sentiment, calling the championship a success both organizationally and technically. He framed the event as a key platform for identifying new talent and sharpening competition among athletes.
Tournament Director Ahmed Johar pointed to the quality of the competitors as proof of how far bodybuilding has come in the UAE. He pointed out that the strong turnout created a lively atmosphere throughout the championship.
Johar also highlighted the opening ceremony's blend of sport and Emirati heritage. That opening ceremony featured performances from the Shihuh Traditional Arts Troupe, showcasing the traditional Al-Rawah and Al-Nadba art forms under the direction of Abdullah Saeed Al Shehi.
Former UAE national football team stars Faisal Khalil and Bashir Saeed also made appearances as special guests, taking part in the award ceremony and posing for photos with winners, participants and fans.
