At 79, Sylvester Stallone is showing no signs of slowing down. Three days ago, the Rocky star shared his 2026 fitness mindset while training in an Instagram video.
The post captioned “Every year it gets harder and harder, but that’s why you gotta push harder and harder. Blood, sweat and tears.”
Sylvester Stallone, while standing at his home gym, reflected on what exercising means to him now. He said, “I haven’t done a video from the gym in a long time. But it’s kind of like a sanctuary, a church, where you pray to get better, to feel better physically”.
For Stallone, working out has been a constant throughout his acting career. For roles such as Rocky Balboa or John Rambo, his fitness became a key aspect.
It's also become a big part of his mental health, as he revealed two years ago. "It’s more than just about narcissism or ‘look at me, I wanna flaunt this and that’. There’s no doubt in my mind that if you’re not feeling good and strong, like you’re competing, or if you’re reminding yourself of the way you used to be, it affects everything."
Sylvester Stallone ended the post by saying, “So you have the strength to arrive at your goals really confident and ready to face any challenge. Anyway, keep punching”.
And Sylvester Stallone Has Big Things Lined Up For the Future
He has the Tulsa King season 4 lined up for a 2026 release. The show brought back a vintage look for the star that kept him in the gym.
More recently, he dropped an encouraging note to Anthony Ippolito, the actor playing him in his biopic I Play Rocky, when the star was working out.
“The movie ‘I play Rocky’ started filming Friday. Good luck to them – keep punching!!!”
