Let’s unroll the whole story.
On 21 July, the owner and head coach of SyndicateMMA, John Wood, shared a carousel of photos, captioning, “Got to crack some pads with the big man @wizkhalifa today!” The post further reads, “This dude is legit. Look forward to doing it again. ⚔️🏴☠️⚔️”

In another Instagram post shared by “justfightco” on July 22, Khalifa was seen sparring with head coach Wood.
The caption reads, “Wiz Khalifa knows the fight game. He’s trained with Coach John Wood at Syndicate MMA and was rocking Just Fight.” In the video, the rapper was seen doing:
- Punching
- Pad work
- Foot work
- Kick drill
But this isn’t the first time the “See You Again” singer has been seen showing off his fighting skills. On November 21, 2025, the official YouTube channel of “AKA Thailand” shared a video titled “Wiz Khalifa Training Muay Thai at AKA Thailand with ONE Championship Superstar Superlek.”
In the video, the songwriter was at the AKA Thailand facility in Phuket and was seen demonstrating his Muay Thai skills alongside Superlek Kiatmuu9. In the video, he was seen doing:
- Pad work
- Punching drill
- Foot work
- Kick drill
- Elbow strikes
Along with Muay Thai, Khalifa has a structured training routine that helps him stay fit and healthy.
Wiz Khalifa’s training routine
According to Amo Mama, speaking with Men’s Health, Khalifa said he trains 6 days a week. To describe his gym routine, he said, “[On a] normal day, I wake up at 6 a.m., eat breakfast, take my son to school, then hit the gym.”
- He trains different muscles every day, and his usual training routine includes:
- Weight training (1 hour)
- Mixed Martial Arts (1 hour)
- Stretching
Because of his busy schedule, he travels frequently from one city to another, so he prefers to train with intensity and heavy lifting when he is not traveling.
On the other hand, during on-road trips, he changes his training approach from gaining more to retaining the progress he has achieved already.
This perfect combination of intense weight training and MMA training is the real secret to the rapper's fitness.
