12-hour flight didn’t stop Benson Boone from hitting the gym

Most would falter after a long 12-hour flight. However, Benson Boone refused to skip a beat, showing what true commitment is.

On March 14, Martyn Ford, the British bodybuilder, shared a short clip of Boone, where the American singer and songwriter was seen exercising while Ford was motivating him.

The 43-year-old bodybuilder captioned the video as: “My man KILLED IT !!!”.

Ford added, “Sometimes you meet people in life, and thing … YES !!! I’m glad everything has happened for that person. What an incredible young man, and all the boys tonight were true gents … @bensonboone you impressed with your grit, determination, and HUNGER”.

He later revealed Boone hit the gym after a 12-hour flight and a 3-hour drive and admired him for his “professionalism, determination, sacrifice, and dedication”.

Boone, who recently appeared at Taco Bell’s annual Live Más Live event on March 3 with Doja Cat, replied to the post with humor. He said, “yeah, I wasn't even trying (i legit lost all feelings in my hand)”.

While the self-proclaimed stunt king revealed to Interview magazine in June 2025 that his toned physique is “all natural,” according to a Sole Fitness article, he follows a 5-day workout routine.

Boone, who shocked his fans in October 2025 by posting his shirtless, shredded physique picture on his Instagram, follows a 5-day training split when not touring.

According to Sole Fitness, the 5-day split includes:

  • Monday is dedicated to upper-body movements
  • On Tuesday, the singer focuses on the lower body and core
  • On Wednesday, the Ghost Town singer focuses on active recovery and mobility
  • Thursday is for upper body pull
  • Friday is dedicated to full-body movements.

On weekends, Boone goes for outdoor activities such as swimming and hiking.

And Boone’s diet looks like:

For breakfast:

  • In the morning, he eats foods filled with complex carbs, healthy fats, and quality protein
  • Some common choices are: nut butter, protein powder, oatmeal, and berries.
  • Sometimes he also eats an egg whites omelet with avocado and vegetables.
  • After a morning walk, he immediately switches to hydration, which includes 16 to 20 oz of water with electrolytes.

Nutrition before performance:

  • For sustaining energy during his show days, Boone consumes his last meal 4 hours before performance.
  • During that time, he prefers easily digestible foods.
  • Some common options are: sweet potato, white rice, fish, or chicken.
