22-Year-Old Bodybuilder Struggles To Breathe Due to Steroid Side Effects

A video posted by Svein Falzon on his official Instagram account, @genet1canomaly, has viewers alarmed. Falzon, a 22-year-old bodybuilder, has admitted to facing several health issues related to his use of anabolic substances.

In the video, he admits with a smile how it may be "harder for him to breathe," to move, and even to be more efficient in certain tasks. Regardless, he says that the only thing that matters to him is that he is “big” and that’s the “only thing that matters.”

“I’m only gonna get bigger, so the problems that I have now are only gonna get worse,” he says with a short laugh. “It’s what I signed up for. It’s okay.”

He also talks about wanting to “go up to 125 kilos,” a massive gain to his already mammoth-like structure. Right now, Falzon is 118.2 Kgs, per his YouTube video.

"Please be careful, always keep it to a minimum, see how your body reacts to different compounds...stay safe and always do it with someone guiding you, someone with experience. I'm not going to disclose what I take, what I do," Falzon revealed a year ago on YouTube.

While these substances deliver dramatic results, their side effects can be brutal. That's why building a body with natural compounds is essential for long-term durability.

Why Natural Training Still Matters

The side effects of using performance enhancers are well-documented. According to NIH, side effects can range from-

  • Hypertension
  • Infertility
  • Early dementia
  • Acne
  • Heart issues
  • Achilles tendon rupture
  • Cholesterol
  • Dermatological issues
  • Gastrointestinal issues
  • Insomnia
  • Mood changes

While the list goes on, it is safe to say that going natural may be a better option for long-term results.

Although building muscle can take slightly longer in this process, consistent training can offer incredible results. Progressive overload is a great way to increase your body's natural resistance over time and help your muscles grow.

It is also important to get into a good strength training routine that works for you. Keep in mind that there is no ‘one-size-fits-all’ when it comes to finding the ‘perfect’ workout routine.

Moreover, comparing your progress to someone else, even if you are following the exact same workout routine and diet, is not recommended.

Every individual's body reacts differently, so while some may see slower progress compared to others, it is not a sign to give up. Health, sustainable growth is much more important than fast results with dangerous side effects.
